Dear hiker friends,
Today we present our programme for 2012, hoping that you will find it to your taste.
Our friends from Albères-Evasions expect us the week before Easter in the foothills of the Pyrenees and have chosen some of the most delightful walks. We will stay again in the picturesque little harbour of Collioure.
In the Ardéche area our local friends were sad not to be able to show us their wonderful region in the best light, due to the pouring rain at All Saints. They invite us to get to know their county hopefully with the sun shining.
In late summer we are expected by our welcoming friends in Wales. The walks there will take us over hills and styles, through heather and fern and includes a boat trip that will enable us to do some dolphin watching. All Saints can be a wonderful time to explore the coastal paths with their mix of rocks, sea and sunshine.
We can do so in county Var with our friends from Les Randonneurs Hyèrois. The detailed program was not ready before this program went into print, but there is no doubt it will be highly interesting.
The year would not be complete without the traditional week in Bavaria in August to which we would like to invite again all our hiking friends from all over Europe. In addition to a varied hiking programme we offer a visit to the famous Gäuboden festival that celebrates its 200th anniversary in 2012. Don’t hesitate to enrol, private accommodation is limited.
Tempted? We hope that you will join us on one of our trips, which are, of course, open to all of you who share our views.
Yours,
Benedikt Weyerer and Isolde Huber
